In the shadows of much larger airports, Addison Airport has been carving out a niche for itself as a go-to destination for general aviation and corporate aviation. Once a sleepy commuter airport, Addison has undergone a transformation in recent years, becoming home to more than 600 based aircraft and attracting some big-name tenants, including a business aviation center run by Flexjet and a U.S. Customs and Border Protection facility.
